Web interface designs

Photo
I tried to keep the idea of floating, and bright colors in a geometric pattern on a solid background

Probably my strongest design, and I really like it a lot.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
I think I hit a good amount of fairyland meets creepiness, but it just isn't a website yet.

  3. I really like the recycled paper one. It looks really cool.

Your navigation is spread out well and is easy to read, but maybe find a way to make it more obvious that they are navigation links.

One more suggestion is to incorporate another color into the design, perhaps the yellow of the post it notes from your inspiration. I think it would make your logo pop out nicely!

  4. The hot air balloon was a neat concept. It seems to be a little cluttered. I like the random posters, but I'm not sure I like the random navigation. It might try rounding the poster edges to see how it would look.

The recycled paper insparation is a cool concept. I love they way you made the postered appeared to be falling into the pile. With everything else in gray scale it makes the current posters stand out in color. You might put the Emerson Theater in color too so it stands out as well. Just an idea.

I'm not sure how I feel about the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory website. The posters in gray scale seem to loose something.

  5. Hi - I like the one with the old posters - that's kind of a neat shout-out to all the history of the place. And the colorful posters really pop against the grayscale background.

  6. I like the recycled one the best. The only things I could say about it would be to find place for the ad and make the navigation more pronounced.

  7. Like the others, it seems like your recycled concept is best. There's something to definitely take away from that considering composition and layout compared to the others.

It's hard to distinguish your goals for the other two design as much as that one, which is extremely important to have nailed down in the web. Make sure to not forget about color theory. Most of your posters in the first design are completely lost.

  8. I really like the paper interface...the other two are kind of hard to navigate. The paper interface rocks though!

The balloon one is really goodalso.
Didn't quite get the last one.
The first two followed your inspiration well I thought.
